Special Characters in Rich Text Editor is not working in Chrome though it works fine in IE and FF

Hi Frends!

I am working on Adobe Cq5 Platform.

I have one Text Component where i=one Rich Text Editor(RTE) is embeded.

While adding Texts using it i am able to add Special chartcters in IE and Firefox browser but not in Chrome.

I am not able to fix it .Could pls anyone tell me is it a Browser issue or anything else

Or do i need to do somthing in  settings specific to Chrome Browser to activate this facility.

Any Help is appreciated
