Component edit mode not working

Hi

     I have a component which i dragged and dropped into a parsys . Once the entire CSS rendering is done. First time if i drag and drop the component; dialog mode will come. But once i refresh the page if i try to edit the component nothing is happening. Can anyone explain why this is happening ?
